Low Water Pressure Clogh/Castlecomer PWS

Low Water Pressure Clogh/Castlecomer PWS

Kilkenny County Council, working in partnership with Irish Water, wishes to advise customers supplied by the Clogh/Castlecomer public water scheme that intermittent low pressure may be experienced across the network beginning tonight, Thursday 22/07/21.

Low pressures are due to increased demand, resulting in a drop in reservoir levels.

Low pressure may be experienced nightly from 10pm until 7am.  we recommend that customers allow 2-3 hours after the estimated restoration time for full supply to return.

Kilkenny County Council understands the inconvenience when restrictions are imposed and is working closely with Irish Water to ensure there is uninterrupted supply during daytime hours.
